This piece is a daydream - sun on skin, cool water on fingertips, the hush of a place where the world can’t reach.
Using a softened variation of my technique, the marks are washed out and layered like light refracted underwater.
It’s about rest. Replenishment.
And the simple wish to feel full again.
The Other Stuff to Know…
This work was created on premium grade, gesso triple-primed, cotton duck canvas. Hand-stretched on quality pine frame and created using archival quality acrylic paints.
90cm (w) x 90cm (h), approx 5.1kgs - This work has been framed in a sustainably grown Beech timber frame.
